Spring has arrived in Wootton Bridge

What a wonderful morning it is in Wootton Bridge today.  The sun is shining and everyone who has been into the office has had a smile on their face.  A walk down to the Creek would be wonderful.

Queen’s Jubilee – Tuesday 5 June 2012

There will be a 1950′s inspired Tea Party on the afternoon of Tuesday 5 June 2012 in the Village Square, Brannon Way, Wootton Bridge.  Tuesday the 5th June is a bank holiday and we want to recreate the mood of 1952 -with vintage clothing and a proper old fashioned afternoon tea.

We are hoping local residents will come along and celebrate this very special event as a community.  We will shortly be selling tickets for the Tea Party which will start at 2.00 p.m. and end at 4.00 p.m.

Come along and wave your flag and make this a day to remember.

Party in the Park 2011 – photo gallery

We were not so lucky this year with the weather for our annual Party in the Park but this did not stop the fun.  It was not so much fun putting up the marquee with rain dripping down our faces but we are British and “the show must go on”.  We were kept supplied with hot drinks and the bacon butties helped.

Please view our photos to see that the show really did go on despite all that the weather could throw at us.

The sun came out mid afternoon and the evening music picnic was a resounding success as usual.

We are keeping our fingers firmly crossed that the sun will return for next year’s event.
